I absolutely flew through Marry Me Not and honestly couldn’t put it down. Gabrielle Sands has such a knack for balancing romance, suspense and mafia politics and this book had me hooked from start to finish.
Cosimo and Fabi are complete opposites—he’s guarded, ruthless and convinced trusting anyone is a mistake, while she’s kind, genuine and determined not to lose herself, even in an arranged marriage she never wanted.
Their slow burn romance is packed with tension, longing and some seriously satisfying character growth. Cosimo tested my patience at the start but watching him slowly tear down his walls and become completely gone for his wife made the payoff so worth it.
I also loved that the romance never overshadowed the story. The mystery kept me second guessing everyone and that ending genuinely caught me off guard. Add in the cameos from previous books, the protective ‘touch her and you die’ energy plus all the emotional moments and I was completely invested.
If you love mafia romance with arranged marriage, opposites attract, a slow burn that burns and a hero who has to earn his happily ever after, this one is absolutely worth picking up.
