Tempting Wyatt is a delicious slow-burn enemies to lovers romance and I absolutely devoured it!
Wyatt is the grumpy rancher burdened by responsibilities with no time for romance, and that includes with Ivy, the screen writer hiding out in a cabin on his Montana ranch in desperate need of inspiration to break her writers block.
What I loved:
The character growth. Both Wyatt and Ivy have experienced loss; he the loss of his father and she her relationship. I loved seeing their walls come down and how they got under each other’s skin. Ivy was strong yet also vulnerable. She broke through Wyatt’s barriers and breathed life into him again while he helped heal her emotional wounds, and that dirty mouth of his… oh my!
The pace. I love a slow burn storyline and while the physical attraction was obvious right from the start the forced proximity aspect added to the tension and when they finally gave in to their sizzling chemistry it was amazing!
The Family aspect. I loved the dynamics between Wyatt’s family members and the love they have for each other. Their banter was top tier and the way they took Ivy in was heartwarming.
The animals. Honestly, Jasper and Lucifer kind of stole the show!
Tempting Wyatt is perfect for fans of grumpy x sunshine cowboy romance who like a dash of mystery with their swoon.

Here’s the synopsis
She’s running from the pain in her past.
He’s fighting to protect his family’s future.
Wyatt Logan doesn’t have time for distractions. His family’s legacy is hanging by a thread, developers are circling like vultures, and after his father’s sudden unexpected passing, the weight of Triple Creek Ranch rests squarely on his shoulders. The last thing he needs? A high-maintenance Hollywood princess renting the guest cabin on his property.
Ivy Anderson is out of options. Hiding out in small-town Montana was never part of the plan, but after a painful scandal puts her career on hold, she needs an escape. A quiet place to write. To heal. To disappear from the humiliating spotlight. She’s not here to make friends–or to catch the eye of the broody, infuriatingly handsome rancher, who seems to hate her on sight.
But with their cabins only a few yards apart, and Wyatt’s family determined to make Ivy feel welcome, avoiding one another isn’t an option. The only thing more combustible than their tempers is the tension that flares every time their path’s cross.
He’s all rough edges and responsibility. She’s got secrets she can’t afford to tell. They’re complete opposites in every way.
He’s tied to the land in Montana and her life is waiting back in LA. But when the line between love and hate blurs, falling for each other isn’t just possible–it’s inevitable.
