Loving Romeo is book one in the Magnolia Falls series and is Demi and Romeo’s story.
Demi Crawford has returned to town after graduating from college and has opened a coffee shop, right next door to Romeo Knight’s boxing gym. Romeo and his friends despise the Crawford family for things that happened when they were younger, things Demi knows nothing about.
Demi is a strong, independent, ray of sunshine who sees the best in people, while Romeo is the loyal, hard working grump who holds a grudge.
I enjoyed watching the relationship develop from enemies to friends to lovers as Romeo and Demi balance each other perfectly and have amazing chemistry.
As usual the group chat banter is a highlight as is the crossover appearance from Lincoln and Brinkley from On the Shore (Cottonwood Cove #3).
I love Laura’s writing and Loving Romeo is a fantastic start to the Magnolia Falls series. I am excited to read more about this found family.
